TENNIS LEAGUE INFORMATION TENNIS LEAGUES

This general league information pertains to our racquetball, tennis, and wallyball leagues. Specific league information follows.

ALL fees must be paid at time of registration. All registration will be on a first come first serve basis. No telephone registrations will be accepted! Registration is available online at www.bisparks.org. All leagues coed unless specified.

Match starting times are fixed unless otherwise specified. Out of courtesy, please abide by your scheduled time.

AGES
• Must be ages 19 or older to participate in leagues. High school players may participate upon approval of the league coordinators.

CARDIO TENNIS

This is a fast paced workout set to music. Emphasis will be placed on movement. Open to all ability levels. Work up a sweat, hit a ton of balls and have fun, too. This is a drop in class, no sign up required.

DAY and TIME
• Adult Cardio: Mondays, 12:05 – 12:50 p.m. beginning in October
• This class is part of our group fitness programming and is on our schedule.

BEGINNER TENNIS CLINIC

Five reasons to learn the game of tennis:
1) Tennis is a lifetime sport.
2) It’s great exercise.
3) It’s a stress reducer.
4) It’s a sport that can be shared with your children.
5) It’s fun!!
Six weeks of lessons, plus free entry into the beginner tennis social.

League play is 1.5 hours and is held at CRFC. All leagues are based on your NTRP ranking. NTRP descriptions are available at CRFC. For help with your NTRP rating, contact Head Tennis Professional, Shannon Larson at 221-6855. Leagues are 6 weeks in length.

All league matches should be played at their scheduled time. All doubles league players must find a substitute if they are unable to play. You may sign up without a partner and we will try to find one for you.

* Maximum of 24 participants per session, per league.

ADDITIONAL LEAGUE INFORMATION
CRFC will provide tennis balls for all leagues. Winners of each league receive a $20 BPRD gift certificate and recognition within the facility. Results and scores will be posted at www.bisparks.org and on the bulletin board at CRFC.

Enjoy an afternoon meeting beginner players and experiencing social match play with others. Prizes will be given away to each participant and food will be provided. A lucky attendee will go home with a brand new tennis racquet. This social is "free" for those registered in the beginner tennis clinic.

ADULT POWER DRILLS

SENIOR TENNIS MORNING DROP-IN DOUBLES

Game based tennis drills provide a fast paced, fun environment for those looking to improve their singles and doubles games. All skill levels are welcome.

• Saturdays, 1 - 2:30 p.m.

Seniors! Join us Wednesday mornings at 9 a.m. for a morning of social doubles organized in a points format. Each week a weekly standings board will be updated and at the end of 6 weeks a winner will be announced.
