July 18th is Youth Baseball Night AND Minnesota Twins night at the Ballpark!  Youth baseball players get in free!  Click here for more info!

July 19th is Tennis in the Parks Day! Free tennis classes and lots of fun and prizes! For more info, click here.

July 26th is the Go! Family Wellness Celebration and Zumbathon at the Bismarck Community Bowl! This event will also be the kickoff for Great Trails Discovery and the Playground Passport program.  For all the details, click here.

August 13th is the 3rd Annual Subway Get Fit Roadrace! Registration is now open at www.bisparks.org.


The golf courses, trails and swimming pools are calling your name! Take some time this summer to enjoy the three outdoor aquatic centers or one of our beautiful golf courses. You may have noticed some new playgrounds popping up around town! 16th Street Park playground has been renovated with a new 'train depot' theme. At Jaycee Park, on W. Century Ave. and N. 4th Street, you will find that both playgrounds have been renovated with new equipment and new access paths! Meddy Bear playground at Jaycee Park is nearly complete. Get out there and play!

Need a rainy day activity?  Go inside at BSC Aquatic & Wellness Center for pool and playground fun.

It seems that summer is just getting into full swing, but the back-to-school aisles are already filling at local retailers. That means BismarckParks and Recreation District is also planning for fall events and programs. Bismarck residents can watch their mailboxes that first week in August for the Fall Activity Schedule. Copies of the Activity Schedule will also be available at the BPRD administrative office, 400 E. Front Ave.Bismarck. Get ready to fall into some fun.
