General Sibley Park
 
General Sibley Park is a 138 acre park, located four miles south of Bismarck on Washington Street.

The park includes camping sites for tents and campers with electrical hook-ups. There are also full service restrooms, picnic shelters, playgrounds, 24-hole disc golf course and a boat ramp.

CAMPING RESERVATIONS
Camping reservations for the 2010 camping season will be accepted beginning on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. After this date, reservations are taken Monday-Friday from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. until the campground opens for the season. Then reservations can be made anytime during Sibley Park office hours.

  • A credit card is required to reserve campsites in order for the campground to hold your reservation. Visa, Mastercard or Discover cards are accepted.
  • A maximum of ten (10) campsites may be reserved for a specific day or dates. Tenting sites are non-reservable.
  • Cancellations24 hour notice required before arrival date or the visitor will be charged for each site reserved, and the sites will open to rent the following day. Example: A cancellation must be received by 2:00 p.m. on a Thursday for a Friday reservation arrival date.
  • Refunds - Camping fees will be refunded if the cancellation of the campsite is made before 2:00 p.m. of the day the visitor is departing the park. The issuance of a refund check will take 10-12 business days and will be mailed to the address provided by the camper on the refund form.
  • All campers are required to register and purchase a camping permit at the park office before occupying the campsite.
  • Campers are responsible for their reserved site assigned. No switching of campsites is allowed without prior approval of office personnel.
 

FACILITIES
Day Use Areas - Gates Are Locked at Dusk Each Night: 24-Hole disc golf course, sand volleyball court, picnic shelters, playgrounds, boat ramp      

Camping Area:
115 camp sites available with electricity
Tents: 100+ sites available. First Come-First Pick. Reservations are not taken for tent sites.
Potable City Water Station:  available at park entrance/exit
Dump Station:  available at the park exit

CAMPING/PARK RULES
Check-In Time:  2 pm
Check-Out Time:  2 pm
All camping sites are restricted to one camping unit per site.
Quiet hours are between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.  Only registered campers are allowed in the park at these hours.
Fires are allowed in established fire rings and grills only.  Please extinguish all fires before vacating your campsite. 
Persons under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult to occupy a campsite.
Pets must be leashed.  Noisy, dangerous or disturbing pets are not allowed.  Owners are responsible for picking up after their pets.
ATV's or Off-Road Vehicles are not allowed to be driven within the park. 
Other items that are prohibited within the park:
   -Glass beverage containers
   -Gathering of firewood from within the park
   -Firearms, bow and arrows, sling shots and BB guns
   -Fireworks
   -Swimming
   -Horses

30-amp only:  Sites 1-15 and sites 58-69
20-30-50 amp:  All other camp sites

Drive Through Sites:  45, 83, 85, 86, 90

Double Sites:  Reserved as double (two units)
Sites:  74A-B, 75A-B, 108A-B, 109A-B

Small Site for pop-up or small units only:  Sites 38 and 91

Asphalt Pads:
Sites 16 - 57 with the exception of sites 28, 38 and 45
All other camp sites have gravel pads
