BPRD wins state-wide award

Bismarck Parks and Recreation District received the 2016 Innovative Programming Award from the ND Recreation and Park Association at the group’s annual conference held recently in Willison. The award was for BPRD’s Park Passport.

Park Passport encouraged participants to get out and explore Bismarck’s 60 parks and 47 playgrounds. Questions about various parks had to be answered, turned in, and all those participating got a pool pass. One lucky entrant received BPRD prizes and more pool passes. In just two weeks, 154 forms were turned in. Thanks to all those who participated, had fun, and gave us the opportunity to submit the program and win an award for it!
