Spring/Summer Programs Information – Great News
Registration for all spring/summer programs opens online at 8am on Thursday, April 2. Bismarck Parks and Recreation District (BPRD) is planning to move forward and offer all of our summer programming at this time and are encouraging people to register. We will adjust and/or cancel if necessary and full refunds would be provided. BPRD may have to offer a shorter season, starting later, and we would, of course, adjust fees as appropriate. At this time, register for the program(s) as listed and planned.
Things to think about as you prepare to register:
- The BPRD office at 400 E. Front Ave is CLOSED to the public at this time. You will NOT be able to come into the office to register in person. Online registration is available. We encourage one and all to please gain access to a computer or cell phone or any kind of device (tablet, Ipad) to be able to register for your chosen program(s) online.
- For this spring/summer registration session only, and only (please) for those individuals who receive a BPRD scholarship or those who do not have any access to any computer, phone registrations will be accepted. Staff will be able to take your registration and your credit card payment. Please call 222-6455. Please know your calls will be accepted in the order they come in. If you leave a message on our voicemail system, you will be called back in the order the call was received as time allows. Please know calling and registering over the phone IS NOT faster and DOES NOT guarantee you a spot in any BPRD programs. Preparing your online registration in advance is much more efficient.
- Helpful Tips for Registering Online: Please review the Navigating Online Registration information prior to registering for your selected programs. You’ll find detailed step-by-step instructions on how to put your desired programs in your “wish list” prior to April 2 so that you’re ready when the registration software opens at 8am. This will help you avoid any frustration and you can check your login and password. This also gives you time to call the BPRD office at 222-6455 and staff can help you if you have any questions.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we move through this unprecedented time. BPRD hopes to see you all again soon.
