This park was made possible by a donation of land and funds from the Myron and Marjory Atkinson Family. Additional support for park development included a grant from the North Dakota Outdoor Heritage Fund, parking lot and trail construction from Doosan Bobcat, and tree plantings from Audubon Great Plains.
