Pickleball Lessons

There are generally two sessions each season (summer, fall, winter) with outdoor lessons available in the summer.

Sessions

  • Fall Session 1: September 8-October 10, 2026
  • Fall Session 2: October 19-November 21, 2026
  • Winter Session 1: January 4-February 6, 2027
  • Winter Session 2: February 22-March 27, 2027
  • Summer Session 1: June 2027
  • Summer Session 2: July 2027

Locations

Pickleball 101 Beginners Lessons

Learn the basics of pickleball with other beginners. The class will focus on court layout, rules, and beginner drills.

2026 Fall Days, Times, and Fee

  • 60-minute classes at 9:30am on Mondays at CRFC
  • 60-minute classes at 12:00pm on Wednesdays at CRFC
  • 60-minute classes at 12:30pm on Saturdays at CRFC
  • Fee: Session 1, $50, Mondays $40. Session 2, $50.

2027 Winter Days, Times, and Fee

  • 60-minute classes at 9:30am on Mondays at CRFC
  • 60-minute classes at 12:00pm on Wednesdays at CRFC
  • 60-minute classes at 12:30pm on Saturdays at CRFC
  • Fee: $50

2026 Summer Days, Times, and Fee

  • 60-minute classes at 8:00am on Tuesdays at Sertoma
  • 60-minute classes at 4:00pm on Tuesdays at CRFC
  • Fee: $40

2027 Winter Days, Time, and Fee

  • 60-minute classes at 12:30pm on Saturdays at CRFC
  • Fee: $50

  • 90-minute classes at 9:00am on Tuesdays at Sertoma
  • Fee: $60

Need to Know

To determine what level you should play, use the USA Pickleball skill level guide. If you cannot determine your skill level, contact Rod at 701-221-6855. Never played? Consider signing up for lessons before attending drop-in for the first time.

Capital Racquet & Fitness Center, 3200 N. 10th St.

  • CRFC and BSC Aquatic & Wellness Center Members: FREE
  • Non-Members: $5
  • Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
    • Beginner (2.0-2.5): 8:00-10:00am
    • Intermediate (3.0-3.5): 10:00am-12:30pm
    • Advanced (3.5+): 12:30-3:30pm
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays: all levels from 11:00am-3:00pm
  • Saturdays: all levels from 3:00-6:00pm

August 4-May 31
