Board of Park Commissioners Brief for November 20, 2025
Lindsay Junge, operations manager with BisMarket, shared an update as a Bismarck Parks and Recreation District featured partner. BisMarket completed its 13th season in 2025 with an average market attendance of 1,000 people per Saturday. They look forward to continuing to expand the market at its location at Kiwanis Park.
The Board voted not to renew the agreement with the Burleigh County Commission for management of Burleigh County Parks, concluding BPRD management of county boat ramps, county parks, and Missouri Valley Complex at the end of 2025.
No bids for the Sertoma Park Sanitary Sewer Connection Project were received. The Board authorized staff to work with the consultant and potential contractors on solutions to complete the project and to rebid the project.
The Board approved the bid from Dirty Bean LLC-Classic Rock Café for Riverwood Golf Course concessions and approved the agreement for 2026 and 2027.
The Board approved updates to the Human Resource Policy and Procedure Handbook.
The Board accepted the land donation from Silbernagel Family/Silver Ranch 18, LLP and approved the Super Slide Agreement Extension Addendum. The Board authorized selection of consultants for 2026 projects and the call for bids for portable toilets. The Board approved KLJ Engineering as the consultant for General Sibley Park Day Use Area Road Project.
The next regularly scheduled Board meeting is Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 5:15pm in the Tom Baker Meeting Room.
