Occupied from about 1550 to 1600, Chief Looking’s Village was one of a dozen or more Mandan towns clustered close to the confluence of the Heart and Missouri rivers, the center of the Mandan’s traditional homeland. Learn more about the Mandan by walking the interpretive trail.
