Park Clue – A July Celebration Event

A mystery is unfolding in the park, and it is up to you to crack the case! Follow the clues, eliminate the suspects, and piece together the evidence to discover who committed the crime, what weapon was used, and where it happened. Gather your family and friends, put your detective skills to the test, and see if you can solve the mystery!

Need to Know

  • Get your Park Clue Card: available starting July 23 at 8:15am
    • Option 1: Use the digital Park Clue Card with your smartphone.
    • Option 2: Pick up a clue card from the BPRD office, 400 E. Front Ave.
    • Option 3: Print the Park Clue Card (PDF).
  • Use the card to keep track of the clues you find at the park. Mark off each clue as you find them. When only one remains in each category, you will have discovered who the suspect is, what weapon was used, and the location of the crime.
  • Complete and submit the online Park Clue Accusation Form by 10:00pm on August 2.

Prizes

  • All correct online accusations will be entered into a prize drawing, which will be held by 12:00pm on August 4. Winners will be notified via the contact information submitted on the online accusation form.
  • Two randomly selected winners will receive four pool passes with Hillside waterslide.
  • Grand prize winner: One person will receive four pool passes with Hillside waterslide and a $20 certificate that can be used for programs, memberships, and reservations, excluding golf courses.

Park Passport – Celebrating Kids to Parks Day

Kids to Parks Day is Saturday, May 16. We invite you to celebrate – and play – with Park Passport. This activity is for kids of all ages and asks a few questions about BPRD parks.

Need to Know

  • You can’t answer the questions from the couch. You must GO to parks to find the answers. Use the Parks and Trails Map to find the parks.
  • Get your Park Passport form
    • Option 1: Print the Park Passport form (PDF) (download and print starting May 15 at 8:15am).
    • Option 2: Pick up the form at the BPRD office, 400 E. Front Ave.
  • Fill out your contact information on the form for a chance to win the grand prize.
  • Turn your completed form in at the BPRD office by 5:00pm on Monday, June 1.

Prizes

  • The first 108 entries will receive one free day pass to an outdoor pool (no Hillside waterslide).
  • All entries turned in by the deadline will be eligible for the grand prize: two $20 gift certificates (one for programs, memberships, and reservations, and one for golf courses).
