Youth Basketball Boys’ Grade 3 – Fall

Boys’ youth basketball is a recreational program that teaches participants the fundamentals, skills and sportsmanship of the game. Participants will learn through drills and scrimmages. Win/loss records are not kept. Our emphasis is on equal play time, and most of all, FUN!

Program Dates and Location

• October 26-December 19, 2026
• Informational Meeting: 7:00pm on October 7 at World War Memorial Building, 215 N. 6th St.
• Practices and games are held at WWMB.

Schedules

• Practices are once per week for one hour (Mondays through Fridays at 4:00pm or 5:00pm).
• Games are Saturday mornings and early afternoons.

Need to Know

• Teams are organized by school if possible with up to 13 players per team (schools may be combined).
• All coaches are volunteers. If we do not have a coach for your child’s team, you will be notified. Parent volunteers are also needed to run the clock during games.
• Jewelry is not allowed, nor is taping of earrings. Exceptions are medical bracelets or medical necklaces taped to the chest inside of shirts.
• Wear shorts or sweats and non-marking tennis shoes and bring a water bottle.

Registration and Fees

• $75 per player – if received by October 9
• $85 per player – if received October 10 or later
• Participants must register for the elementary school they attend (Bismarck Public Schools or Bismarck private schools).
