Open-Enrollment Procedure for 2025-26

  • Mid-May: BLAST registration information is mailed to families currently enrolled in the BLAST program. This helps us determine who is coming back and how many open positions there are available for other families at each school site.
  • June 12 by 5pm: Registration packets from current BLAST families are due at the BPRD office by 5pm.
  • June 3-20: New applicants interested in enrollment for 2025-26 have this timeframe to stop at the BPRD office and register their child(ren) in a drawing for the open positions. All you need to register for the drawing is contact information. In-person registration is the only option.
  • July 9: BPRD has drawn names for each school and placed them in the available spots and on the waiting list. We are calling the families who are able to enroll in BLAST and sending postcards to all remaining families regarding the drawing results. If you did not enter the drawing, you may now call the office to be placed on the waiting list.

The BPRD office is located at 400 E. Front Ave. Hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30am-5pm.
