  • Located at the amphitheater, or in the event of inclement weather at Picnic Shelter #1.

Bats play an important role in North Dakota ecology, but their numbers have been declining in recent years. Learn more about the shy, nocturnal creatures and how faculty and students at United Tribes Technical College are monitoring populations to aid conservation efforts. If we’re lucky, we’ll be able to see a few bats fly overhead as the program begins around dusk!
