Bismarck’s Newest Park Unveiled

Bismarck’s newest neighborhood was unveiled Thursday, June 2. Welcome, Southland Park, 304 Santa Fe Ave., just west of the existing Cottonwood Park along S. Washington St. The newest park to Bismarck Parks and Recreation District’s (BPRD’s) park system was developed by Robb Sattler. This park includes a playground, a shelter and trail connection to the existing Southland Trail. The playground and trail are complete and the remainder of the park should be completed this summer.

This park was created as a partnership, with BPRD owning the land, and the developer of the nearby neighborhood, Robb Sattler, putting in the park’s features.
