Cool Weather Brings Seasonal Closures

The cool fall weather is bringing many summer programs and facilities to a close.

The boat docks at Kniefel Boat Landing and Hoge Island Park have been removed for the season, and the Fox Island and Kniefel Fish Cleaning Stations are closed.

The last day to enjoy the BisParks BCycle bike share program is Sunday, Oct. 9.

Community gardens also close Oct. 9. Gardeners are responsible for clearing their plot(s) by this date.

The camping season at General Sibley Campground and Eagles Park Campground ends Monday, Oct. 10, although General Sibley Park remains open for day use.

Park operations staff have also begun winterizing many park bathrooms and will continue the process through October.

The last days to enjoy golf are Monday, Oct. 24, for Pebble Creek Golf Course, Wednesday, Oct. 26, for Tom O’Leary Golf Course and Monday, Oct. 31, for Riverwood Golf Course.
