Green Space Public Input Meeting July 18

BISMARCK, N.D. – The City of Bismarck will hold a meeting seeking citizen input on a Green Space Initiative at a public input meeting being held July 18, 6:00 p.m., at the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library, Meeting Room B (lower level), 515 North Fifth Street, Bismarck.

Commissioner, Josh Askvig has been working with a group of community stakeholders and developers to explore options to plan for green space as the City grows. The work group has prepared ten draft concepts related to the Green Space Initiative. The City is actively seeking citizen input on the draft concepts. “Planning for green space as our City grows is a need that was clearly identified throughout the Strategic Planning process,” said Josh Askvig, Bismarck City Commissioner. “We’d really like citizens to become re-engaged as we move forward to take action on the Green Space Initiative. I invite them to attend the meeting to learn more and to share their thoughts and comments on the ten concepts that we’ve drafted.”
