New Neighborhood Park to be Dedicated June 30 in Northeast Bismarck
Bismarck Parks and Recreation District (BPRD) will officially dedicate Bismarck’s newest park, A. James Silbernagel Memorial Park, on Thursday, June 30, at 4 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
The park, located at 4019 Platinum St., is named in honor of Dr. Arnold James “Jim” Silbernagel, a long-time Bismarck optometrist who passed away in 2010. He and his family purchased a farm/ranch in northeast Bismarck in 1971, and much of this land, including the area where the park is located, is now the Silver Ranch subdivision.
Park features include a nature-themed playground, accessible picnic shelter, native pollinator garden and trail connection to Silver Ranch Greenway Trail.
