Outdoor Pool Closing Schedule

Bismarck Parks and Recreation District’s outdoor pool season is ending over the next few weeks as its college and high school workforce heads back to school and begins practice for fall activities.

The last day for outdoor pools is as follows:

• Friday, Aug. 8 – Wachter Aquatic Complex
• Sunday, Aug. 10 – Hillside Aquatic Complex
• Sunday, Aug. 17 – Elks Aquatic Center

The Pool Pooch Party will be held on Saturday, Aug. 9, at Wachter Aquatic Complex. Small dogs under 30 pounds are welcome in the pool from noon to 1pm, and large dogs over 30 pounds will have pool access from 1-2pm.

The free splash pad at New Generations Park will remain open for daily hours of 10am-8 pm through Labor Day weekend and as weather permits in early September.
